Smile! It's not that bad :)

How was your weekend? Did you enjoy the beautiful sun outside, hang out with friends or just chilled at home? Mine went like this...

What a beautiful day it was! I decided I need to go out and embrace the sun. While I was walking around outside I managed to let some unhappy thoughts slip through my mind and starting to stress out - one of those moments you get caught off guard. I guess it shows, like I was trying to walk it off. Out of nowhere a guy walking his dog crossing the street just smiled at me and said, "Smile! It's not that bad." I was surprised by his friendly words. So I smiled back at him unnaturally and thought to myself why am I wasting such a beautiful afternoon being stressed out and unhappy. Before I went on and crossed the street, "Yeah, smile! Hope you have a nice day." he said, with a warm cheering smile. That made my day.

There are times in our lives when we just fall for the tricks of negativity and forget about the beauty and happiness of life. It can be from work, misunderstandings between friends and family, or anything that's really not the end of the world which makes us feel like it. When those moments come, remember to put a smile on your face and you'll feel so much better and know that everything's going to be alright. Nothing can bring you down but bad moods. Put up a smile and you can do anything that's awaiting you to challenge.
Hope you have a great day/night where ever you are and - smile, it's not that bad. :)

And thank you stranger, for your encouraging words.

Urban Decay Friends & Family Sale 2011

It's the time of year again
Urban Decay Friends & Family sale 25%Off (excluding Naked palette)
7/05/11-7/10/11
CODE: FFSUMMER11

I've got my fix already, if you haven't got yours go snatch some goodies up before they sell out!
Happy shopping :) <3

Some recommendations?
I'd definitely go for the famous primer potions if you haven't tried them yet - and they have 4 different color choices in squeeze tubes.
24/7 Glide-On Liners and Shadow Pencils are great, too!
Book of Shadows VOL. 3 - they have my favorite liner color Rockstar in shadow form! yay~<3
Too bulky packaging? I managed to "depot" the shadows and they fit perfectly into the small Z Palette for travel ;)

Behind the scenes - Fun with Alvina, Mu-ming and Iris

A while ago I had the pleasure to work with Alvina and Mu-ming, my long time friends of nearly 15 years. (I'm not that old really)
Alvina happens to be a great photographer while Mu-ming a great director - how convenient :)
Initially it was just a test/let's have fun kind of project since all three of us haven't really had a chance to work all together, but when we had all the cameras rolling we decided to make it into a reel - why not?

Red String of Fate

A story for all the love ones and loved ones.

Directed by a friend of mine - "Bee" Rapeepimol Chaiyasena, who is a very talented director.
I love the miniature effect on the trains and long shots, the color theme of the girl's room and the great production design - everything is so beautiful.
Working with the crew was a blast since everyone is so talented and wonderful to work with.
